DIY Workshops
Working in partnership with members of UBC's Digital Community of Practice, we host semester based workshops that covers everything from audio and scripting to video post-production. Keep an eye out on the CTLT page for more details.

 
Student Training
Our experienced staff have taught thousands of UBC students on the best practices of creating media. A great way to prepare students on the importance of communication via digital media within this technological day and age.

 
Media Consultation
Our experienced educational producer is available for initial consultations at no cost and will help you assess the best approach and steps to ensure success in your project. This can range from helping with your TLEF proposal to offering solutions for your DIY or professional project.

Do-It-Yourself Monthly Drop in Sessions

UBC Studios offers monthly DIY media support sessions on the last Wednesday of each month in the Main Studio from 10 to 11:30am. RSVP is strongly recommended for these sessions although we also accept drop-ins for those who need specific help with their DIY projects.
 

 


Online Resource: UBC Media Makers

UBC Media Makers is an online resource for the UBC Community that includes instructions on how to create different formats of media and templates that could be used during the creative process.
